Mr. Wang of Qingdao Tourism Bureau told that Olympic Sailing Center would be developed as a new 5A scenic spot after Olympic Games. It would be a new attraction like Wusi (May 4th) Square, besides, the scenery of “Swallow Island and Autumn Tide” was located in the southeast of Olympic Sailing Center.
2008 Olympic Sailing was held in host Qingdao successfully, which attracted large number of tourists. Qingdao had invested huge sums in tourism constructions, including 104 key tourism projects before.
