The Beijing Olympic Park has attracted over 2,420,000 tourists during the Golden Week of National Day from September 28th to October 5th. On October 2nd, 527,499 tourists from China and abroad visited the Olympic Park., which far exceeded the expected daily receiving capacity of 250,000 tourists.
During the weeklong holidays, the Olympic Park has offered extra services to facilitate tourists such as Olympic Park Supermarkets, electric automobiles, snacks and drink stands, temporary ticket offices and reception offices.
The traffic around the Olympic Park was orderly. Even in the travel peak on October 2nd, the traffic was in good order.
