
It was built on the basis of a description in the "Family Hone", a masterpiece of the well-known writer Bajin and was completed in 1989 over an area of 1.73 hectares. The garden imitates the style of folk houses in west Sichuan Province of the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The main buildings include the Ziwei Hall (crape myrtle hall), the Mudan Hall (peony hall) and the east and west chambers of classical folk flavor.
